I ordered one of these in red as a replacement for my filament ash tray light that had burned out. The color is vivid and bright. I liked it so much that I removed the ash tray, making the light is now visible at all times in my car. And since these LEDs use such low power and generate absolutely no heat, theres nothing to worry about.

Ive bought and used these in Amber and Red for warning/idiot lights in my dash. They are not brighter than incadscents, they are the same but use a lot less power and will never need to be replaced by me-maybe the next guy or the guy after him, etc... Long life, low power and just as bright as the incadscent!!
