The wire on each side is 6" long, so between both side it is about 12" long. The ballast is epoxied so it is more weather resistant. BAU15S the bayonets more in a V shaped and not at the opposite sides of the socket. Since it is 6 ohms you have to use one load equalizer per led bulb in your turn signal circuit. Comes with both a male BA15S socket and a female BAU15S socket so it can be used inline. Since this is a inline BAU15S inline load equalizer you do not need to cut, pierce or crimp the existing wires.
