Yes
I read one other review stating the base was loose. I found mine to be the same. I glued it for precaution to keep it tight when turning the bulb back out of socket. Bulb is bright and an excellent addition to my cabin 12 volt system.

Yes
Bulb puts out good light, However when I held the bulb by the glass globe and screwed it into the socket the globe came off. Also when i tried to screw the bulb out of socket the base came off. After using hot glue gun to put everything back the bulb puts off good light.
