Converter 6 Volt to 12 Volt 4 Amp

Converts your 6 Volt vehicle to be able to power 12 Volt accessories. Powers anything that is 4 Amps @ 12 Volt. The ballast has enough power in a small size. The input is 8 Amps @ 6 Volt input and the output is 4 amps @ 12 Volt. Works on both 6 Volt negative ground and 6 Volt positive ground cars, trucks, tractors and motorcycles. Please connect the ground and input 6 volt signal to the input side of the ballast the red and black wires. Please connect the output to a 12 Volt device using the yellow and black wires. With this ballast you can have DVD, Bluetooth, WIFI, USB port in your vintage and classic vehicles designed and built before World War II. Compatible with 12 Volt: audio, navigation, monitoring, led, air conditioning, electric fans, CB, ham radio, DVD, lights, motors, pumps and industrial equipment. The red and black wire are connected to 5-11 volts input up to 8 Amps @ 6 Volts. Please connect the red wire to your positive ground or 6 Volt positive battery terminal. The black input wire is connected to your negative battery terminal. For negative ground 6 volt vehicles connect your black input wire to the ground of the vehicle and connect the red input wire to a 6 volt positive battery terminal. The output wires Black and Yellow provide a 12 volt @ 4 amp load. The no load current draw is 20mA. Works on 8 Volt Fords. The yellow output wire would connect to the 12 volt input of the device. The black wire is the output ground would connect to the ground wire of the 12 volt device. Please add a switch to the positive input wire to help with battery drain from the no load current of 20 mA, if the vehicle is not used regularly. Great for 12 volt radios and solenoids. Please add a 10 Amp fuse to the positive input wire to protect the converter from overload.
