This LED bulbs has 36 light emitting diodes. Available in super white, yellow, green, blue. Available in bases 1156 Single Circuit, 1157 Dual Circuit, BA15D Single Circuit. 12V. 30,000 hours of LED life. Luminous efficacy is 2000. 270 degree beam angle. Comparable to a 25 to 30 Watt incandescent bulb. 1 chip per led. The BAY15D has offset bayonets. The Lumen output for high beam is up to 180 Lumens while the low beam is up to 150 Lumen output. This bulb only works on negative ground vehicles. The base diameter for BA15S, BA15D or BAY15D is 15mm diameter. This product measures approximately 1.70 inches by 1 inch.

After several attempts to convert my GM Safari taillights to RED LEDS as I could only get a
smaller LED with White LEDs to fit, I took my
pocket knife and trimmed the OEM socket so the
bulb would slide in a bit further. Now the dual circuit 1157 fits, is bright RED vice ORANGE with white LEDs and a RED taillight lens. EXCEPT for headlights all lights in my
conversion van are now LED. All were from
Ledlight.com and draw much less power and are
brighter than their incondesent cousins.

Yes
I used these to replace the lamps for my boats running lights (mast, anchor, port, starboard). The lamp was a GE #94 and the LED replacement fit in perfectly! They are brighter and use a lot less electricity than the old ones.
